REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM ANATOMY AND GERM CELLS

Think of the body systems you have studied to this point. The heart was all about moving blood. The digestive system was all about getting nutrients. In fact, all the major body systems seem to have at least one major function that is critical to keep us alive. The major function of the reproductive system, however, has very little to do with keeping our bodies alive. Rather, the primary function of the reproductive system is to create new life.
