Summary:  During my internship, I had various responsibilities, such as assisting with patient check-ins, taking vitals, and providing grooming assistance. Additionally, I gained hands-on experience performing minor medical procedures, including EKGs, manual blood pressure measurements, dementia screenings, flu, COVID, strep, and pregnancy testing, urine analysis, ear irrigation, and administering vaccinations and other injections. I also took on scribing duties, documenting patient encounters, taking notes for healthcare providers, managing prescriptions and referrals, and handling the clinic's record system, which involved ordering labs, scanning medical records, and organizing them. In addition, I helped with cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking supplies both in patient rooms and the lab. I also had the opportunity to observe more advanced procedures, such as catheter placements, biopsies, and joint injections.

Summary:  I was fortunate to intern at Clarity Eye Care in McKinney, Texas, a full-service optometry practice with a focus on high-quality products and modern technology for the best patient experience. During my time there, I conducted various tests, including glaucoma screening, retinal photography, and visual fields. These examinations allowed us to detect eye diseases and refractive errors.
