Summary: During my internship, I had the opportunity to work in various departments within the hospital's laboratory. In the hematology department, I learned how to create blood smears and manually cover slip slides. I also gained exposure to screening different blood smear slides and identifying abnormal cases such as sickle-cell disease or abnormal white blood cells.
