The Science of Learning

An Evidence-Based Approach to Educational Psychology

Abstract

This textbook was developed by students beginning in the Winter 2023 section of BYU-Idaho's Educational Psychology, Cognition, and Human Development course. Students prepared concepts and validated each others' writing. Benjamin Pacini (faculty) and several TAs (Mayleigh Barth, Emma Canann, Kennedee Cuff, and Shannon Steele) organized and formatted while adding corrections. Other students improved the book over time. All graphics are designed by BYUI students or are used with permission. Graphics were created using Canva Premium and the elements that come with purchasing that program. ChatGPT may have been used to generate content, but all content is the responsibility of the respective authors or editors.
