    Hip Flexor Wrap

    Indications (+)/Contraindications (-)ExpectationsMaterials Needed 
    • Hip flexor strain (+)
    • If the athlete is not wearing compression shorts (-)
    • If the athlete isn't comfortable with the vicinity of the wrap to their pelvis(-)
    • Wrap should cover the ASIS bilaterally and pull hip into flexion.Wrap should be tight enough to not fall off.

    Taping tips

    1. Athlete stand on heel block in ready position
    2. Pull elatic wrap medial to lateral

    Hip Adductor Wrap

    Indications (+)/Contraindications(-)

    Expectations

    Materials

    • Hip Adductor Strain (+)
    • If the athlete is not wearing compression shorts(-)
    • If the athlete isn't comfortable with the vicinity of the wrap to their pelvis(-)

    • Wrap should cover the ASIS bilaterally and pull hip into adduction and slight internal rotation.
    • Wrap should be tight enough to not fall off. 

    • 6" double length Ace bandage
    • Conform or CoFlex

       Taping tips

    1. Have athlete stand on heel block in ready position
    2. Pull elastic wrap lateral to medial
