Overview

• Task: Download WhatsApp and join your WhatsApp group.
• Purpose: Prepare for the case study discussions. 

Background

You will be put into two WhatsApp groups. One group is for the instructor to communicate with the class. The other group is for you to work with your classmates on discussion assignments. Remember these groups, and the information in these groups (including WhatsApp contact information) is only to be used for class purposes.

Instructions

1. Download WhatsApp (if you do not have it downloaded).
   • Additional Resources: From the Apple App Store or Android Download page or PC/MAC Desktop Download page.
   • Here are the FAQs for WhatsApp.
2. Use the WhatsApp link that is assigned to your group by your instructor in the reply post below in your discussion board. (Scroll down.)
3. Post a very brief introduction of yourself in your WhatsApp Small Group, which includes:
   • Name and where you are from.
   • One fact about yourself like what you enjoy doing outside of school or career goals.
   • A photo of yourself.
     
   • Make sure your WhatsApp Profile Name is updated to your name.
4. Copy and paste what you posted for your introduction on WhatsApp into the W01 WhatsApp Sign-up and Initial Post discussion board in Canvas. You do not have to reply to other people, but you are welcome to as part of getting to know your classmates.
