APA Format Body Paragraph Example 

An arrow pointing to the title has text next to it that says, The title is centered, bolded, and in title case. A circle around the page number with text by it that says, Page number in the top right-hand corner of every page. An arrow leading from the first paragraph's indent to text that says, Indent all new paragraphs. A box around the title and some of the paragraph has an arrow pointing to text that says, Double spacing starts immediately after the title and continues throughout paper. Double arrows point to the space in-between the paragraph and the edge of the page with text below it that says, Margins are 1 inch on all sides.


APA Introduction and Prevalence Paragraph Example

The first sentence, or the hook, is highlighted in blue: "Children who suffer from malnutrition need solutions that actually work." All the statistics in the paper are highlighted in purple: "that 1 in 3 Filipino children", "40% or higher", "over 60,000 Filipino children", "also found only a 0.2% decrease". The last statement, or the thesis statement, is highlighted in green: "This paper will discuss how partnerships with experienced charities, increasing food security, and decreasing poverty can improve Filipino children's health, stature, and life expectancy."
