1.1 Addressing Population Growth

Our journey begins with a stark reality: by 2050, the world's population is projected to reach 9 billion people. This exponential growth presents a formidable challenge, as we must find sustainable ways to provide food, water, and resources for everyone. Understanding the magnitude of this challenge is the first step towards finding solutions. In addressing population growth, it's crucial to shift our perspective from viewing people as mere statistics to recognizing everyone’s inherent worth and dignity. By focusing on the needs of individuals ("the one"), we can better understand the complexities of population growth and our responsibilities towards one another as stewards of the Earth.

In our quest to understand the world and address complex challenges, we rely on various methods for accessing truth. In this chapter, we'll explore two primary methods: revelation and the scientific method.
