Self Actualization: A Summary

Self-actualization is a concept in psychology that refers to the process of fully realizing one's potential, achieving personal growth, and fulfilling one's unique purpose or calling in life. It is the highest level of Maslow's hierarchy of needs, which is a theory of human motivation that describes how individuals move towards fulfilling their potential. Self-actualization involves a deep understanding of oneself, a sense of authenticity, and a connection to one's inner values and beliefs.

According to Maslow, self-actualization is achieved when individuals have satisfied their lower-level physiological, safety, social, and esteem needs, and can focus on personal growth and self-fulfillment. This involves a deep sense of self-awareness, a strong sense of purpose, creativity, and a desire for personal growth and self-improvement.
